Inspired by a journey across continents, SUMMER SAFARI brings the energy and vibrancy of travel onto the canvas. After returning from a safari in Tanzania, I found myself drawn to the bold patterns, earthy textures, and rhythmic repetition of nature’s designs. But this series isn’t limited to one place—traces of my travels to Mexico, Australia, and Costa Rica weave their way into these paintings as well. Thick, textured paint creates a tactile experience, while dots and repeated patterns evoke the movement of wildlife, the shifting of sand dunes, and the pulse of distant cultures. It’s a celebration of exploration, of the beauty found in faraway places, and of the lasting impressions they leave behind.
