This painting grew from memories of small discoveries along the shoreline. The shapes inside the central bubble might remind you of shells, seaweed or stones—those little treasures that appear after the tide pulls back. I leaned into calm, beach-toned colours to bring out that feeling of returning to something familiar and steady.
The forms feel almost like small symbols, collected and arranged on the canvas. There is something reassuring about that simplicity: the idea that a few shapes and marks can hold memories of water, earth and time.
