Water has a way of finding its own path, moving around obstacles, gathering in unexpected places, and leaving traces behind.
The Shape of Water is a collection of abstract works on paper that explores fluidity, movement, and the unpredictable ways colours interact. Pigments spread, overlap, and settle into forms that sometimes suggest landscapes, shifting skies, or underwater worlds.
I love the balance between intention and chance in these pieces. I can guide the colours, but I can't always predict where they'll go. Sometimes the most interesting things happen when I allow the materials to do what comes naturally.
These paintings are about movement, change, and the beauty of letting go of a little control.
