When Winter Melts Away

The white meringue-like shapes that cover my gardens and the forest slowly diminish in size, as the sun rays kiss it and make it sparkle. It’s a “goodbye for now”, as the land beneath is slowly revealed in increments. Soon, all the white will disappear and give way to the rebirth of spring.
