Some people see color when they hear music—this rare phenomenon is called synesthesia. I’ve always been fascinated by it, and over the years, I’ve met a few people who experience this incredible connection between sound and color. While I don’t have synesthesia myself, music plays a huge role in my creative process. I listen to it while painting, often harmonizing with the melodies. And if a song truly moves me, I might even break into an impromptu interpretive dance—luckily, no one is around to witness it! The Musicality captures the rhythm, movement, and emotion that music brings to my work.
