My House, My Home is about the deep comfort of returning to the place where I feel most grounded. Home, to me, is far more than shelter—it is where I create, rest, heal, and reconnect with myself.
Lately, as the world feels increasingly uncertain and heavy, I’ve found myself paying even closer attention to the small rituals that make a house feel alive: flowers gathered from the garden, familiar light through the windows, colour, warmth, and quiet. Inspired in part by a recent trip to Italy, I filled this painting with joyful greens, chartreuse, pinks, and bold movement as a way of holding onto hope and tenderness.
