This painting was created while we were deep into the Atlantic crossing, surrounded by nothing but water and sky. The bold indigo brushstrokes along the edges echo the vastness that framed our days, while the softer pinks and reds recall the quiet drama of the sunsets we watched from the deck. Time felt different out there—stretched, slowed, and gently unanchored—and this piece holds some of that feeling of being held by the sea while moving steadily forward.
