I am looking for a detail-oriented creative professional to support my studio practice by preparing artwork images for my website, newsletters, online galleries, and print.This is a remote freelance position with flexible hours. Work tends to come in batches as new paintings are completed.

About the role

This is primarily a Photoshop production role. You'll be responsible for preparing high-quality images of original paintings for a variety of uses while following an established workflow and file management system.

The work includes:

• Editing artwork photographs in Adobe Photoshop
• Colour correction and image optimization
• Perspective correction
• Creating close-up detail images ("bits")
• Removing minor distractions from photographs
• Preparing images for Shopify, newsletters, social media and print
• Exporting multiple image sizes and formats
• Maintaining an organized folder structure in Dropbox
• Updating a production spreadsheet
• Occasional print projects using Adobe InDesign

Required qualifications

Applicants should have:

• Advanced Adobe Photoshop skills
• Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Experience preparing images for both web and print
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience working with Dropbox and shared folder structures
• Reliable internet access

Because this role involves ongoing collaboration during regular business hours, applicants must be located within three time zones of Eastern Time (ET).
