We are seeking a detail-oriented creative professional to assist with the preparation and management of artwork images for an established contemporary artist.

This role combines Photoshop image editing, production design, file management, and occasional InDesign layout work. The successful candidate will help prepare artwork images for Shopify, newsletters, social media, and third-party art platforms.

Responsibilities
• Edit and optimize artwork images using Adobe Photoshop.
• Create multiple image variations and detail views ("bits") from high-resolution artwork files.
• Perform colour correction, lighting adjustments, perspective correction, and cleanup of visual distractions.
• Prepare images according to established specifications for Shopify, newsletters, social media, and licensing purposes.
• Maintain file naming conventions and folder structures.
• Update production tracking spreadsheets.
• Follow established workflows and deadlines.
• Create occasional marketing materials using Adobe InDesign.

Requirements
• Advanced Adobe Photoshop skills.
• Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience preparing images for websites and print.
• Ability to work independently and follow documented procedures.
• Familiarity with Shopify is considered an asset.
• Interest in art, photography, or visual storytelling is an asset.

This is a remote freelance position with flexible hours. Work volume varies throughout the year and often occurs in batches as new artwork is released.
