Collection: SMALL DISCOVERIES

Sometimes the smallest paintings lead to the most unexpected discoveries.
Small discoveries is a collection of intimate, colourful paintings created with oil and pigment sticks. Working on a smaller scale gives me the freedom to experiment, follow my instincts, and see where a few simple marks might take me.
Some paintings are playful and figurative, with familiar objects, animals, and little scenes from everyday life. Others are entirely abstract, allowing colour, texture, and gesture to tell their own stories.
I love the immediacy of working with pigment sticks. There's something wonderfully direct about drawing and painting at the same time, building layers, scratching into colour, and letting unexpected shapes emerge.
These little paintings remind me that not everything needs to be planned or explained. Sometimes curiosity is enough, and the pleasure is simply in seeing what happens next.
