Flowers for Gore

I painted these flowers onto ¼” plywood, for my community: I live an hour north of Montreal, in a small municipality called Gore. Residents were regularly regaled with community events, but when Covid hit, all was canceled, and the sign posts that previously advertised dinners, concerts and dances were empty. As such, I painted signs and paintings for all the empty sign holders, in an effort to make the community feel more whole. Art heals the mind.
