Saint-Sulpice Hotel in Old Montreal
Hotel art installation
Tucked behind the iconic Notre-Dame Basilica, the Saint-Sulpice Hotel in Old Montreal has the soul of a heritage building and the heart of something contemporary. In 2018, I was invited to present a solo exhibition throughout the hotel’s public spaces—a quiet integration of my work into the daily rhythm of travelers coming and going.
As part of the collaboration, I gave a live painting demonstration in the hotel lobby, allowing guests to experience the process behind the finished work. The hotel also featured a profile on me in their in-room guest book, offering visitors a window into the art and the artist during their stay.
Saint-Sulpice is a place that draws people in with its old-world charm, then holds them there with its thoughtful details—an ideal setting for art to live in.
