Public art in new Houston medical center

Abstract artworks by painter Claire Desjardins.

How does one make a place feel more personal? The answer is fairly easy: it's all in the decor. In particular, the wall decor. Add some artworks onto the walls of a seemingly sterile space, and suddenly, it becomes a warm and welcoming environment.

I worked with ARCH Designs of St. Louis, Missouri, to warm up the interior walls within the all new O’Quinn Medical Tower for Baylor St. Luke’s in Houston, Texas. Take a look at the photos, and let me know what you think, in the comments below!

Boy do I want to paint with you someday. Put it on my bucket list. I love these. The one with all the green and pink in it reminds me of malikite (sp) . It’s like being in a visual candy store.
