What's up in 2018?

2016 and 2017 were crazy years: I participated in various art fairs and exhibitions in Toronto, New York and Miami, and I taught a number of workshops in Canada and in the US. In between all of this, I got married, traveled to Iceland, Ireland, and Nantucket, launched the Microsoft Surface 4 (I was selected to design skins for them), among other activities, and I worked on various collaborations with Anthropologie, Nuvango and Gelaskins.

So far, 2018 started with a boom, as I participated in my fourth Artist Project in Toronto, in February, and then tried my hand at The Other Art Fair (presented by Saatchi Art) in Los Angeles, in March. It was my first showing on the West Coast, and I learned a lot from it... Everything from ordering paint supplies, to shipping, to van rentals, and so forth. I met loads of great people, and had a wonderful (though exhausting) time, overall.

Starting in April, I have promised myself some down time, in order to harvest my creativity, and perhaps even explore some new techniques, and maybe check out some new venues. I want to have an "easy summer". In September, I'm off with my beloved, to Italy for a couple of weeks, to explore Rome, Tuscany and Venice. I'm ready for this.

With this in mind, here is a listing of my upcoming events for 2018:
